About BOG Card

What is BOG Card payment for WooCommerce?

BOG Card is Bank of Georgia's card acquiring service, letting your customers pay by Visa, Mastercard or Amex. Quickpay's WooCommerce plugin connects your own BOG merchant account to your WordPress store, so BOG appears as a normal payment method at checkout with no gateway code to write.

Bank of Georgia handles the acquiring and settles the money into your BOG account; Quickpay handles the technical integration — OAuth token management, order creation against BOG's e-commerce API, receipt verification, and signed webhooks back to your store. Card details are entered on BOG's own payment page, so they never touch your WordPress site or Quickpay's servers. Bank of Georgia is the country's largest retail bank, which makes BOG card acceptance the default expectation for most Georgian shoppers.

Why BOG Card

Built for how Georgian shoppers actually pay

Card acquiring from the country's largest retail bank, wired into WooCommerce without a developer.

3D Secure by default

Every card payment runs through BOG's 3D Secure flow. Customers authenticate with their bank, and card data is entered on BOG's page — never on your site.

Saved cards and recurring

BOG supports card tokenization, so returning customers can pay with a saved card and you can run recurring charges through the separate BOG Card Subscriptions module.

GEL, USD, EUR and GBP

Charge in lari or bill international customers in dollars, euros or pounds — BOG's card API accepts all four currencies.

How it works

Order, payment, money in your BOG account

Quickpay connects WooCommerce and Bank of Georgia with a ready-made module — no complex code to write or maintain.

1

Customer checks out

They pick BOG Card at WooCommerce checkout and are redirected to Bank of Georgia's secure payment page.

2

They pay and authenticate

Card details go straight to BOG, which runs 3D Secure authentication with the customer's own bank.

3

The order updates itself

BOG confirms the payment, Quickpay sends a signed webhook, and WooCommerce marks the order paid automatically.

Features

A full integration, not a thin redirect

Everything a serious store needs to run BOG card payments day to day.

BOG Card shows up as a real gateway option in classic and Blocks checkout, with full HPOS support.

Express Buy Now

Add a Pay with BOG button directly on product pages for a faster checkout.

Full & partial refunds

Issue refunds straight from the WooCommerce order screen — Quickpay calls BOG's refund API for you and updates the order.

Reliable order sync

Signed webhooks plus a cron fallback mean no order gets stuck pending because a callback was missed.

Saved cards

BOG can tokenize a customer's card at checkout, so repeat buyers skip re-entering their details.

Multi-currency

Take payments in GEL, USD, EUR or GBP without a second gateway account.

Full styling control

Button colors, radius, labels and custom CSS, all from the settings page.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Does the BOG WooCommerce plugin cost anything?

The Quickpay plugin itself is free and available on WordPress.org. You pay only for the BOG Card gateway module you activate in your Quickpay dashboard — a domain-licensed subscription with a free tier for low volume. Quickpay never takes a percentage of your sales.

Do I need my own Bank of Georgia merchant account?

Yes. You bring your own BOG e-commerce credentials (client ID and secret), and payments settle directly into your own BOG account. Quickpay never uses a shared merchant account on your behalf.

Can I refund a BOG card payment from WooCommerce?

Yes. Full and partial refunds work directly from the WooCommerce order screen — Quickpay calls BOG's refund API and updates the order once the refund is accepted. Note that this applies to card payments only; BOG installment and part-by-part refunds have to be handled at bonline.bog.ge.

Which currencies can I charge in?

BOG's card API accepts GEL, USD, EUR and GBP, so you can price in lari for local customers and in a foreign currency for international ones without adding a second gateway.

Do the same credentials work for BOG installment and part-by-part?

Yes — all three BOG products authenticate with the same client ID and secret. They are separate Quickpay modules with separate licenses, but you do not need to obtain new credentials from the bank to add them.

Is my customers' card data safe?

Yes. Card details are entered on Bank of Georgia's own 3D Secure payment page — they never reach your WordPress site or Quickpay's servers. Your store only ever receives the payment result.
