Three ways to sell and collect
Digital downloads, donations, and express checkout — all supported out of the box.
Digital downloads
Sell themes, plugins, e-books, music, and any other digital file. An EDD order is created at checkout and marked Complete by the Quickpay webhook the moment payment is confirmed. The download link is sent automatically.
Donations & one-off payments
Use the [quickpay amount="50" text="Support Us"] shortcode to accept a payment without creating an EDD order. Perfect for tip jars, crowdfunding campaigns, event tickets, or any ad-hoc collection.
Buy Now express buttons
EDD [purchase_link] buttons in direct mode bypass the cart and send the customer straight to qpy.ge for a single-product checkout. Ideal for single-download sales pages and product showcases.
Connect every Georgian gateway
Bring your own bank merchant accounts — the plugin works with all of them. Card, installments, BNPL, QR and bank transfer.

Questions, answered
What's the difference from the WooCommerce plugin?
Both plugins use the same Quickpay account and REST API, but they are separate WordPress plugins designed for different platforms. The WooCommerce plugin integrates with WooCommerce product and order flows; this plugin integrates with Easy Digital Downloads. Same API key, separate installs.
Can I sell physical products too?
This plugin is designed for digital goods sold through Easy Digital Downloads, which has no shipping system. For physical products, use the Quickpay WooCommerce plugin instead.
Does Quickpay charge a platform fee?
No. Quickpay never takes a percentage of your sales. You pay only for the gateway modules you activate. The bank's own processing fee goes directly to your bank.
Is card data stored on my WordPress server?
No. Card entry happens on the secure qpy.ge payment page hosted by the bank's gateway. Your WordPress server never sees card details.
How does the [quickpay] shortcode work?
Drop [quickpay amount="50" text="Donate"] on any page or post. When a visitor clicks the button, a Quickpay payment is created and the customer is redirected to qpy.ge to complete payment — no EDD order is created, making it perfect for donations and one-off payments.
How do silent auto-updates work?
The plugin hooks into the WordPress update API. When a new version is available on Quickpay's servers, WordPress automatically shows the update notice in Plugins → Installed Plugins — just like any plugin from WordPress.org. No marketplace or manual download required.
