About TBC Card

What is TBC Card payment for WooCommerce?

TBC Card is TBC Bank's card acquiring service (TBC Checkout), letting your customers pay by Visa or Mastercard. Quickpay's WooCommerce plugin connects your own TBC e-commerce merchant account to your WordPress store, so TBC Card appears as a normal payment method at checkout with no gateway code to write.

TBC Bank handles the acquiring and settles the money into your TBC account; Quickpay handles the technical integration — access-token management, order creation against TBC's e-commerce API, payment verification, and signed webhooks back to your store. Card details are entered on TBC's own payment page, so they never touch your WordPress site or Quickpay's servers. TBC Bank is one of Georgia's two largest retail banks, which makes TBC card acceptance a default expectation for many Georgian shoppers.

Why TBC Card

Built for how Georgian shoppers actually pay

Card acquiring from one of Georgia's largest retail banks, wired into WooCommerce without a developer.

3D Secure by default

Every card payment runs through TBC's 3D Secure flow. Customers authenticate with their bank, and card data is entered on TBC's page — never on your site.

Tokenized recurring billing

TBC supports card tokenization, so you can bill a customer's card automatically on future cycles — without them re-entering details — through the separate TBC Card Subscriptions module.

GEL, USD and EUR

Charge in lari or bill international customers in dollars or euros — TBC's card API accepts all three currencies.

How it works

Order, payment, money in your TBC account

Quickpay connects WooCommerce and TBC Bank with a ready-made module — no complex code to write or maintain.

1

Customer checks out

They pick TBC Card at WooCommerce checkout and are redirected to TBC Bank's secure payment page.

2

They pay and authenticate

Card details go straight to TBC, which runs 3D Secure authentication with the customer's own bank.

3

The order updates itself

TBC confirms the payment, Quickpay sends a signed webhook, and WooCommerce marks the order paid automatically.

Features

A full integration, not a thin redirect

Georgian & English

Checkout and admin strings ship in both languages out of the box.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Does the TBC WooCommerce plugin cost anything?

The Quickpay plugin itself is free and available on WordPress.org. You pay only for the TBC Card gateway module you activate in your Quickpay dashboard — a domain-licensed subscription with a free tier for low volume. Quickpay never takes a percentage of your sales.

Do I need my own TBC Bank merchant account?

Yes. You bring your own TBC e-commerce credentials (API key, client ID and secret), and payments settle directly into your own TBC account. Quickpay never uses a shared merchant account on your behalf.

Can I refund a TBC card payment from WooCommerce?

Yes. Full and partial refunds work directly from the WooCommerce order screen — Quickpay calls TBC's refund API and updates the order once the refund is accepted.

Which currencies can I charge in?

TBC's card API accepts GEL, USD and EUR, so you can price in lari for local customers and in a foreign currency for international ones without adding a second gateway.

Does TBC also offer installment payments?

Yes — TBC Bank installment (განვადება) is a separate Quickpay module with its own license. It reuses your TBC client ID and secret, but the bank also issues a merchant key and campaign ID specifically for installment, so you'll need to request that provisioning from TBC separately before activating the module.

Is my customers' card data safe?

Yes. Card details are entered on TBC Bank's own 3D Secure payment page — they never reach your WordPress site or Quickpay's servers. Your store only ever receives the payment result.
